About This Site
An Independent Community Project
Meshtastic Scotland is run by volunteers in Scotland to build and document an off-grid mesh radio network across the country. We use Meshtastic — the open-source firmware, software, and devices — to do that. We are not the Meshtastic project.
Who we are
Meshtastic Scotland is a volunteer-run community initiative. We register elevated structures, work with landowners, plan coverage, and help people in Scotland deploy and maintain Meshtastic LoRa nodes on church towers, masts, water towers, and other suitable buildings. The whole site exists to make that work easier and to make the network visible.
What we are not
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representative of the Meshtastic project or Meshtastic LLC. Where the name "Meshtastic" appears on this site, it refers to the upstream open-source project whose software and hardware we use. The Meshtastic name, logo, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

- meshtastic.org/docs — official documentation.
- Official Meshtastic community channels — forums and the project's own Discord.
- github.com/meshtastic — the upstream firmware and apps.
How to reach this community
