Where Should the Next Node Go?
These are candidate buildings — churches, towers, community halls — that could host a node and meaningfully extend Scotland's mesh. Each is scored by how much new coverage it would unlock. Red = coverage gap. Green = already served. Tap a building to see radio horizon, height, and how to suggest it.

How Buildings Are Scored
Coverage gap (+40)
Is there already a node within radio range of this building? No existing node nearby scores maximum — you'd be opening entirely new mesh coverage.
Height AGL (+30)
How far above ground is the potential antenna position? A 25m church tower scores full marks. A flat-roofed community hall at 5m scores much less.
Accessibility (+20)
Urban and low-elevation buildings are easier to reach for install, maintenance, and landowner conversations. Scores higher than remote highland structures.
Structure type (+10)
Church towers score highest — purpose-built height, established community relationships, generally sympathetic landowners. Telecom masts and water towers follow close behind.
